Answers:
I would guess that it's probably infected!. By silver tooth I'm assuming you mean that you have a crown on it!. That means that it's something going on underneath the crown!. If your dentist didn't clean it out well before he/she crowned it it could be decay or it could be an infection!. When you go on Monday you'll be able to get an x-ray taken and find out for sure!. But pretty much all dentists do have an emergency line, someone you can call to get help if it is hurting you that badly!. I work for a pediatric dentist and we see a lot of problems like this and I know that my dentist would really like to hear about a problem, even if it was over the weekend, if it was bothering one of his patients like this!. I highly doubt it's the cold!. Depending on your age it could also be that you have a permanent tooth erupting and it is causing problems!. Rinse with warm salt water and see if that helps, it should be at least a little soothing if it's something in the gum tissue!. Ibuprofen is also great for tooth pain!. If you can't handle the pain until monday then have your mom call the emergency line!. Sorry I can't give more concrete answers, without looking at the tooth it's hard to say and I don't want to lead you astray!. :) Tooth pain sucks, hope you get this resolved quick!. If you have more specifics and want to let me know I might be able to give you some more, better, information!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
