Question: How much does it cost to get a tooth "shaved down" a TINY bit!? Will it cost anything!?
I'm getting "bonding" done to my the tooth beside the left front tooth because it is a tiny bit shorter than the one on the opposite side from it!. However my tooth beside the one I'm getting the bonding done to (the canine tooth) is pointy at the end unlike my right canine tooth!.
Can the dentist shave it down a little bit (less than a mm) for free!? Or what should I expect!? Could I shave it myself with a nail file or something!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely don't do anything yourself! You may ruin your bite and you need special tools to do it!. Using anything besides specialized dentistry tools can put toxic materials into your body that can potential harm!.
There will be a cost!. I have bonding done almost every other year on my two front top teeth because when they first grew out, they had formed little craterlike indentations from me not drinking enough milk, and those would stain easily and stuff!. So, every so often, the dentist places the bonding and then shaves the bonding down!. If you have had cavities filled, you should know that at the end, they shave the tooth down and adjust your bite where it's comfortable for your jaw and actually aligns with the rest of your teeth and fits the proper length and height of the rest of your teeth!. It would be quite dangerous to do anything yourself, and you will most likely cause more damage than anything else!.
The cost isn't nearly as much as anything severe, or even cavities, but regardless, your insurance should cover it anyway!.
