Swallowed pieces of dental fillings?!
Question: Swallowed pieces of dental fillings!?
I got a filling on one of my teeth today!. On my way home i felt some small pieces of metal still in my mouth!. When i got home i spit out about 5 small pieces but i think i might have swallowed 2 or 3 pieces on my way home!. I heard the mercury in the fillings can cause cancer!. Is this true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're ok! Being as though you were numb you really couldn't rinse your mouth as well as you could normally!. It's very common that excess pieces from the new filling were still in your mouth like on your cheek or under your tongue, you just couldn't really tell or feel them at that!. Even if you did swallow some pieces, you're ok!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
