Question: How can i remove stains from my braces !?
i accidentally ate a curry last night :P oops lol well anyway i woke up this morning and my once pink braces are now orange !! please help !! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is very hard to remove curry stains from the elastic ligatures on your braces!. The elastic ligatures are the little rubber bands on each bracket!. You can try brushing with a whitening toothpaste but it want get rid of the stain completely!. Your orthodontist will change those out at your next visit!.

I used to have clear braces and clear ligatures and I know that there are certain types of foods (curry being the worst) that will stain the ligatures on your braces and there is really nothing that will bring them back to their original color!. Hey! I've had that happen to me before, except I have clear braces with clear ties!. the best way to get the stains out is to crush with whitening toothpaste, mouthwash, or half a teaspoon of salt in warm water for two minutes after every meal, and once before bed (total of two-three times a day)!. Honestly, it works! My orthodontist and dentist always comment on how clean my braces and teeth are!. This is why!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
