Answers:
is this behind your last tooth!? or on the side (below) a tooth

It could be a couple of different things
1) wisdom tooth coming in!. Which could cause the gum to swell up and be really sore!.!.!.!.intensity should calm with in a week
2) A slight infection associated with the gums!.!.!.!.Sometimes a piece of food will become lodged behind that last tooth where your gum and tooth meet!. This can irritate the area!.

Try to flossbehind that last tooth, Do a lot of warm salt water swishes (vigoruously incase something is impacted back there) Take some advil or ibuprofen as it is an anti-inflamatory!. Also make sure you are not neglecting the area with your toothbrush because its sore, that will only worsen the problem!. Feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
