Does putting on braces affect us?!
Question: Does putting on braces affect us!?
i am going to put on braces soon, around 1 or 2 more weeks!. and my exams starts next week!. if i put my braces on next week, will it affect my mood to study, and does it hurt a lot when you put it on!? i go to the same dentist as my sister and she said that she never wants to see that dentist again coz' he made her suffer a lot!. now i'm really scared!. Ok, I got braces just yesterday!.
Putting them on is a breeze, apart from the metal things on the molars, they hurt cos they dig into your gum!.
Its my 2nd day today and I didn't go to school from the pain!.
Everyones pain tolerance is different, So if your stronger than me then it might not be as bad!. the pain apparantly lasts for 3-4 days!.
If you want to know how it feels, push a finger against a tooth hard and that is the pain you will feel on most teeth!.
It may slightly distract you, and maybe ask if you can take some kind of medicine in so whenever it hurts you can just rub it on!.
If the exams last for a while you should use the wax they give you, it will stop mouth sores

Its uncomfortable and hard to talk at first!. Its also hard to eat regularly at first!. So you may want to put off the braces until after the exams just so you can be well nourished during exams!. The discomfort may distract your concentration, but not necessarily!. It really depends on your pain tolerance!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
no, i got mine a week before my exams and i thought they would affect me but they didnt!. i guess its what your pain tolerance is like, and i dont think it is bad as people make it out to be!. Mine were only sore for the first 2 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
