I went to the dentist a few months ago, and he said I was starting to get "smokers palate" or something!. He said its from smoking!.!.!.the tissue in the mouth loses pigmentation from smoking!. I never asked him if this was harmful!.!.!.but when I looked in the mirror today and opened my mouth, like the back of my mouth and sides are like turning creamish color! Ive only been smoking for a year!! Is this harmful!?!? I read this could be or lead into oral cancer and im freaking out right now!!! And I do plan on trying to conceive in the near future, so I am working on quitting, so if I quit fairly soon, will I be okay!?

I was told everyone has a predisposition to cancer!. It can come out in the first cigarette or 1,000's later!. It all depends on your body!. Your dentist can do an easy test to see if there is cancer!. I just had it done today - insurance doesn't cover it and I paid $50!. You won't know until you have the testing done!. If he can't provide you the test, then he can send you to an oral surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hurry up and quit cold turkey! Saying "fairly soon" never got anybody anywhere!. Sorry, but you just have to tell yourself you won't smoke again and mean it!
And it is not necessarily /definitely/ going to lead to oral cancer, but it could, so you're not completely safe!. The sooner you quit the better!. Don't allow yourself to buy cigarettes anymore!.!.!. no "gradual" quitting!. It'll only keep you addicted and make you more addicted!. Good luck and don't worry!Www@Answer-Health@Com
