Debridement gone bad?!
Question: Debridement gone bad!?
ok my dentist ordered a debridement, but the dental hygienist decided, That sh (didn't think she would have to that) so she just did a cleaning with these hooks and stuff, now this was painful as all hell and the Instruments looked like something from a saw movie after she used them, and this also chipped 2 of my teeth and loosened a filling, now this was 3 weeks ago and my mouth still hurts in particular this one tooth!. so what does this sound like to you!.

Well, those instruments are what are needed to get all the calculus and plaque from under your gums and between your teeth!. The chip, could possibly be plaque that was hardened on your tooth!. (I've seen this many times!. hard plaque that people got used to being there and they sometimes think that it is a part of their tooth)!. Is t the tooth that hurts or the area around the tooth that hurts, because if you had areas where your gums were so infected by the plaque, when you have that cleaned, it will hurt in that area until it heals!. Unfortunately that is the nature of the beast!. As far as the dog!.!.!.!.!. I would not be caught dead in that office!. That is very unhygienic!.
it is also possible that there may be a cavity in that tooth and becuse of the cleaning it "woke up" the tooth!. Did they take xrays!? You should make sure that it is not a cavity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
