Question: Just had all my teeth removed 2 days ago!?
I had all my teeth removed two days ago on the 16th, The dentist put in dis-solvable stitches in my gum's!. well now I have this tugging and pain where they are!? What can I do other then warm salt water rinses, and taking the medication he prescribed for me!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

The feeling is from the swelling!. The best thing to do is take what the doctor prescribed and ice pack the outside area!. If you can take Tylenol or advil you should!. Don't rinse too hard you want to keep the area clean but not loosen the blood clots that formed (sorry its gross but true)!. The rule of thumb is that the pain should get better even if its a little bit every day!. If it stays the same or gets worse you should go in to your dentist and let them look at it to make sure you don't have an infection!. Getting multiple teeth pulled can be very painful and can take some time to heal!. But remember, if it doesn't feel better, go in to the dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
how about something cold!? like a teething ring!? im not sure how much pain your in but maybe a cold wash rag to sorta bite down on!.!.!.or some type of numbing agent!?!?!? it seems something cold would make it feel a little better but sorry i dont know for sure!.!.!.never had a tooth pulled much less all of them

It's normal, take some ibuprofen and wait it out!. If it is really bothering you enough to where you can't do anything then go back and you can get the stitch redone or removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
