Question: Braces: Substitute for elastic bands!?
My orthodontist only comes to my town every two weeks and I have just realized that I might not have enough of those small elastic bands that I have to wear with my braces until he comes to my town again!. I there anything that I can use as a substitute for it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think he would probably prefer than you go without than ghetto-rig something that might harm your teeth!. Use up the bands you have!. If you run out, don't use anything!. Make sure you get extras from our ortho next time he's in town!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no they are pretty thin bands
i can think of absolutely nothing that would substitue
you are out of luck unless you know someone else that wears braces!.
try a pharmacy maybe!?
you must live in the boondocks if the orthodontis "comes to town"

Not really!.!.!.what I would do is just conserve them!. Don't change them after every meal, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
