Question: How do braces get put on!?
ok im just curios!. can anyone explain in detail!? maybe a video would be nice too!?
im gonna get braces soon maybe after all my baby teeth fall out!. i still have like 7 and im 13 but they are all wigly so!.!.!. anyway i went to the dentist and they said i needed to get them so im just curious what they do!? and how they do it!?

First off, there are procedures they need to do before you even get the braces!.
Usually, the first thing they do is if you still have baby teeth, they'll take an X-Ray, just to check if you're teeth are growing in a wrong way and to see if you have to get Oral Surgery!. After that, they put the worst part of the braces on!.!.!.the spacers!. These little things are circular rubber "bands" that they put in between your molars to space them out in order to make room for the "anchor" of the braces!. Usually, depending on how close together your teeth are, they'll wait a week for your molars to space out!. I recommend, in the mean-time, eating with your front teeth because your back teeth will hurt like a *****!. But anyways, when they actually apply the braces, they'll sit you down, and they'll apply this "cement" stuff to your teeth in order to keep the brackets on the teeth!. Then they'll pound a "ring" looking thing to your back molars on the top and bottom jaws!. When they're done, they'll ask you to brush your teeth in order to get all of the excess cement out (by the way, BRUSH GOOD, it tastes like crap)!. Next, they push a wire through the brackets and put "O" Rings onto your brackets, you get to choose the color!. That's pretty much it unless you want me to go into the extreme detail of the later-on-in-the-day facts!.
Within a couple of hours, to be specific, I'd say 3 or 4, you'll start feeling the pains and uncomfortability of the braces!. Don't worry, your mouth will get used to it!. For the 3-5 days AFTER you get the braces, you'll pretty much only be able to eat mashed potatoes or anything that doesn't have a solid in it at all!. It sucks, but you get used to it!.
As for scheduling appointments, when you leave the orthodontist after an appointment, they'll schedule you for another one!. They span from 5 to 6 weeks apart, unless you have to reschedule!.
