Answers:
How many did you have removed!?

I would think the meds used to ease extraction would be gone by now, most don't last but a few hours, but depending on the dosage and your tolerance to it, maybe not!.

Rarely, the roots could bruise the nerve in the jaw bone, which should fade over time!. Sometimes, very rarely, it doesn't, but you will get used to it if it doesn't!.

Most likely, from my experiences, during the removal, the dentist/doctor bruised your lip and jaw, which is the cause of the swelling and numbness!. A regular bruise lasts about a week or so, and a bruised bone can last longer, but they will fade away!. Also, the pain meds s/he gave you after the extraction, if any, could be causing it, since that is where the pain is at!.

I wouldn't worry at this point, but give it a few more days!. Both of these should go away within a week or so!. If not, you might call back and ask them if it is normal!.

Me!? I'm still working on one from two weeks ago!. :)

Hope this helps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Getting your wisdom teeth pulled out has different affects on people!. I was ready to eat meat 2 days after mine were pulled!. The numbing medicine might still be riding it's course!. Sometimes the swelling takes a little longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I had my wisdoms removed I had facial swelling for a few days!. About 4or 5!. But the lip numbness I am not sure about!. Cold pack to that side of your face will help the swelling and discomfort!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
