If the floss smells when you floss between your crown does that mean that it'!

Question: If the floss smells when you floss between your crown does that mean that it's rotting!?
Answers:
Yes!. And that's a good way of putting it!. Plaque stinks!. Its disease process includes fermentation!. Mix that with flesh and blood and you have a very smelly mess!. When my patients are skeptical about the value of flossing, I tell them to floss and smell it!. If they want that in their mouth, then good luck!.
