The absolute best whitening option is in office bleaching, such as, Zoom or Brite Smile!. These treatments work the quickest and have the best results!. The downfall is that they are pricey!. Prices can range from $400-$800!. This depends on the state you live in and the dentist you go to!.
If you opt for in office whitening, I must warn you, there is a product that does not require a fluorescent lite!. Some dentists' believe that whitening can be done just as sufficient without a light!. This is not true!. I've seen it first hand!. The whitening results are not nearly as noticeable without a light!. Supposedly, whitening without a light lasts longer!. I don't buy it!
The key to any kind of whitening (in office or home) is to stay away from foods and drinks that will stain your teeth!. Coffee, tea, wine!.!.!.!. anything that will turn your tongue a different color!.
As far as over the counter products, Crest White Strips are good!. Use them as directed, accompanied by, a whitening toothpaste (Crest)!. For best results, dry your teeth before applying the strips!. Then close your mouth, and go on with your day or night!. You should see results in a few days to a few weeks (depending on the shade of your teeth)!.
I don't recommend using those listerine strips or anything that melts in your mouth!. They most likely contain sugar!.
With any of these products, you may experience some sensitivity after whitening!. This is normal and will subside!.

I tried the Listerine disolving ones and they worked well!. Don't put too much of the strip on the gums!. None if possible!.
I have a temp crown that is stained at the front!. All my teeth were the same color when I started!. My crown is definately darker than my other teeth now!. Listerine strips worked!. It has been 5 months and they are still lighter!.
