Mine went just fine!!.!.!.

i had all 4 of mine removed about 3 weeks ago! i was so nervous to get the iv and get "knocked out" but once they put the IV in and the lady turned the medicine on i was out and didnt know what was going on! i didn't feel anything and DID NOT WAKE UP DURING IT! which was what i heard from EVERYBODY!!.!.!.i woke up and my mom was there and i got in the car! when i got home (10 mins) i was pouring blood out of my mouth so be sure to change your gauze regulary! i think i stopped bleeding after about 2 hours and after 5 hours the numbing wore off so make sure to have your pain meds filled before the numbing wears off!!!!.!.!.the pain meds made me dizzy and sick to my stomach so they prescribed me this pill i could take 30 mins before taking the pain pill and it took the sick to my stocmach feeling away but made me very relaxed and felt like i couldn't move!!!!.!.!.!.

when they say the 3rd and 4th day is the worst!.!.!.BELIEVE IT! but if you can get through those 2 days you'll be fine!!.!.!.just take your meds like you are suppose to and drink plenty of GATORADE to keep you hydrated (that was my only mistake) and eat plenty of ice cream/jello/pudding!.!.!.!.

another thing that got me through was Ensures (nutritional drink) and this might sound nuts but i ate gerber baby food(the fruit onlY) cuz i am a VERY picky eatter! i don't like soup!.!.!.and i ate spaghetti (cut it up really small and just swallow it down and it fills you up)

Good Luck!!! :-) Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine sucked! They were gum impacted, and my mouth was so small that they had to cut the corners of my lips a bit so they could open more, I was obviously asleep and had mine done at a surgery center!. I am 39 now and still have to look at those scars every day!. Most people do not have this problem though!. As a matter of fact I only met 1 other and they are telling my that my son's mouth is very small, and his may have to be done as an actual surgery!. Everything went great with my 3 step-daughters, they had theirs done like most everyone else, and they were back to themselves in a few days!. Good Luck! Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, try to relax!. You're in good hands of a professional!. :) Stressing about it will do more harm!.!.!.But it's normal to feel anxious!. I got all 4 of mine extracted when I was 19 as well!. Because my roots were growing around a nerve, they put me asleep for the entire procedure!. They had to chip each tooth into pieces and take them out that way!. When I woke up, I felt queasy from the anesthetic and they had me on a load of morphine!. Just before I was allowed to go home and the everything was wearing off, I was feeling pretty green like I was going to throw up any second!. Overall, it was mainly annoying to have to be so careful not to unplug the clots!. Pain wasn't so much an issue because you'll most likely be on Tylenol 3's like me!. The only time I felt a little pain was when I laughed or smiled really wide!. You have to try and keep your mouth relaxed for the first few days!. My pain completely went away within 2 weeks!. The dentist will tell you how to care for yourself in the meantime!. He/she will tell you NOT to suck threw a straw and to eat soft foods like pureed soups and applesauce!. You'll also need to rinse your mouth with salt water frequently!. I hope this helps!. Most everyone goes through it!. You'll be just fine!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine went fine!. I had 2 removed, both on the same side!. I sat down, got a shot and some gas, and woke up sometime later!. The pain was not bad at all, the sites healed nicely, and I bought a winning lottery ticket on the way home that let me retire on an island in the Bahamas!.

OK, I made up the lottery part!. But keep in mind that you only hear about the procedures that go wrong!. 95% of the time, everything is fine, and nobody squawks about it!. You only hear when someone complains!. And my bet is that these are the people that don't follow the doctor's instructions well!. They eat hard foods, or smoke or drink and irritate the site, or don't keep it clean!. You have to take some responsibility for this yourself, so listen to his instructions and read any material you get, and then follow the instructions!. Odds are, you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG, you sound just like I was last summer before i got mine taken out! I was so scared and i started looking up all this junk online and heard these horror stories and got so freaked out!.!.!. but guess what!?!!? None of it was true! My procedure went really well (I was 16 at the time and had all 4 of my sideways impacted wisdom teeth taken out at once)!. I was all worried for nothing!.

When i got mine out, i was put under!. It's not a big deal!. The worst part was the needle, because i HATE them!. But i was out in like 5 seconds, and i don't even remember anything!. I just remember waking up afterwards feeling really groggy!. I couldn't even walk straight!. I felt like a drunken fool! But my face was still numb for like the rest of the day, and i was super tired when i got home, so i just rested!. Be sure to stock up on plenty of soft, easy to eat foods!. At first, you will probably only be able to eat things like ice cream, milk shakes with a spoon, applesauce, cream of wheat, pudding, hummus, etc!. After a few days you can move on to things like pastas and mushy cereal!. But cold things feel really good in your mouth because they help to numb it!.

Recovery times are different for everyone, but because you are still young, you will likely heal pretty quickly!. I was back to doing my normal routine in about 2 weeks, but i have heard of people who were up and running just a few days after their procedures!. It all depends!. You will definitely need to take a few days off just to rest!. Just relax and watch some movies or cuddle up with a good book!. And the pain really isnt too bad!. I was expecting a lot worse!. Your doc will probably give you strong pain pills, but i just used regular advil and i was fine!. And be sure you are icing your face to reduce the swelling!. You might look like a chipmunk for a few days, but its actually pretty funny!. And don't worry!.!.!. they swelling will eventually go down!.

The most important thing is to RELAX!!! Worrying won't help any!. Just calm down!.!.!. you will be fine! I promise!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it depends on the person really!.

Oh, and if you waited a long time to get them taken out!. I had put my surgery off for like 8 months cuz I had a friends wedding coming up!.

They were really impacted (basically coming in sideways against my other teeth)!.

First off, I get anxiety and panic attacks!.!.!.!.!.!.so they froze my mouth like crazzzzy, then I started having a panic attacks!.!.!.thinking i was gonna puke, then choke on it cuz my mouth was frozen!. But she somehow managed to calm me down prettty quickly!.

Then the procedure was basically fine!. No pain really!. Just awkward cuz the guy is pulling your head around by your tooth!. Also a weird feeling when he had to smash my teeth with a pair of pliers, then pull out all the pieces!. But like I said, no pain!.

It sucks once you get home though!. Mouth full of gauze, and dry/bloody spit!. and its really hard to spit it out!. Its easily the worst part!. Then the freezing wears off!. I basically didn't eat anything for 4 days!.

I would take having ACL reconstruction again, then having my wisdom teeth pulled again!.

But yea, this was just my story!. Yours will prolly be different as long as you didnt leave it too longWww@Answer-Health@Com

Are they impacted or can you see your teeth!? It's much easier on the person when the teeth have come through!. I had absolutely no problems having mine taken out!. They put one little stitch in to hold it closed, but I can't remember how long it took to close (it's a pretty big hole)!. I did not like the cracking sound, but I had no issues at all!. The biggest thing is to make sure that you keep it clean if the hole is not fully closed!. You don't want food to get in there!. Many people like scaring others so I would not read too much into what some of the horrifying stories are saying!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got all mine out under general anesthetic when i was 20!. was totally fine!. went in to hospital in the morning and was home by the afternoon!. i took arnica tablets for a few weeks before i went in as it is meant to help healing and reduce bruising etc!.

i felt pretty rubbish after and went home to bed and just rested up for a few days!. i had antibiotics and painkillers to take and a mouthwash to use!. was totally fine after a week or two!.

relax and don't look up any websites about it as they will freak you out!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine went great -- and it was years ago -- I had it done at a dental school!. I "slept it off" for a couple of days, but had no problems!. As a matter of fact, I had it done right before finals and managed nicely!. As long ago as it was, I'm sure it's much improved since then!.

I had a root canal, btw, just about three weeks ago, and it was NOTHING, and I have a GREAT fear of the dentist!. GREAT FEAR!. I grew up in the time that dentists just didn't have the methods they have now!.

Piece of cake -- literally -- let us know how you did -- you'll do great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had it done and i really cant remember anything that happend i had to go early in the morning and they gave me the med!. to put me to sleep and the dentist was talking to me about what im gonna do this weekend!.!.!.and next thing i know im waking up!.!.!.!.the recovery want that bad!.!.!.!.the only time i really felt pain was about an hour after the surgury when the numbing wore off but i took the pain meds the doc gave me and didnt feel a thing afterwardsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had two taken out and had to be put under anesthesia for the procedure!. But, I was back at work the next day and out the next night!. I still had to take some medicine for slight pain, but that's it!. I even drank through a straw and still did not get dry sockets!. I had been scared to death, but it was nothing compared to what my mind made it into!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had my top two out last month and it was fine, just some slight aching when yawning and stuff!.

The bottom ones ane meant to be very apinful and have a lot of swelling, but like everything its NEVER as bad as you make it out to be in your own head!.!.

Just buy a lot of soup and iceream that helped me a lot
Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had all 4 (which were impacted) out when I was 18!. It went fine!. I was a little sore and had a little bruise on my jawline, but I felt fine within 3 days!. No biggie, don't worry about it!. Take the pain meds and watch a movie!. In a few days you'll be back to normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had all 4 surgically removed when I was 16!. I went in and all I remember was the very cute surgeon and the "laughing gas" they gave me!. It went very well, no complications!. My face was swollen for about a week and a half but other than just mild discomfort I had no problems!.Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My procedure was no prob at all, but the pain meds they gave me after made me sick and I was too loopy for a while to figure out that's what it was!. Make sure to ask about the pain meds and side effects and other options!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Having them removed is great because it is difficult to clean them!. They are useless teeth!. I had mine removed one at a time!. If all are done at once you will be fine, but a bit uncomfortable!. Best to get rid of those pesky back molars!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

shouldnt be too bad for you , I was 40 when I had 2 drilled out, they were attached to the bone, I still have a little numbness in my face , but it didnt hurt long, Www@Answer-Health@Com

mine went fine!. i had all 4 removed, they put me under!. it took a few hours for the entire thing to be done!. i never really had any pain at all, i had no swelling, all in all, not bad! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Had all 4 out!. Was put to sleep!. About an hour was all that it took!. That same day I was OK just slept alot!. Slight pain for a few days after!. Overall not that bad!. Good LucWww@Answer-Health@Com

Removing your wisdom teeth is an experience that's unique to each individual both my extraction went well but does not guarantee your outcome!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The roots on wisdom teeth are simpler than the other molars, so should come out easily!. 1 - 2 weeks to heal, 6 months for the bone to fill the holes Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well mine went fine and had all 4 out at the same time as well, so don't worry, but it did take quite a few days before I started to look something like normal again!Www@Answer-Health@Com

my daughter had hers out at a dental hospital ,she had to use a special mouthwash but is as all good after a week,good-luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Veryb bad time!.!.!.not long to healWww@Answer-Health@Com

Mine came out first pull, no pain and healed quickly no problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I, like you, got all four removed at the same time!. I did them during Thanksgiving weekend!.!.!.!. Im a vegetarian so I wasnt concerned about the holiday!.
My procedure went fine!. With the exception of the Dentist being an asshole and waking me up in the middle of the procedure because he was concerned over $200!. Parents divorced and constantly fight over paying for anything for me!.
I healed in about six weeks!. I did almost get dry socket in one though!. Dry socket is basically if you use a straw or smoke after the procedure the air keeps the socket "open" and unable to heal and I hear can be uncomfortable but I was unaware of it!. I can't take pain pills, so I had to heal on advil!. I looked like a chipmunck the whole time too!.
Just remember applesauce, pudding, and tomato soup!. Best diet ever!.!.!.LOL!. I kid but your never hungry until you know you can't eat!.

Hope I eased your mind a bit!. Simple procedure and just listen to what they tell you to do!. Cleaning wise and everything!.
Good luck to you and take care!. Make sure someone drives you home and is there for you the next day or two!. When you get home take your meds before you pass out again!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the doctor slipped and took half my faceWww@Answer-Health@Com
