Herbst appliance for teens?!
Question: Herbst appliance for teens!?
i have researched the herbst appliance and know what it does!. i know it is normally for younger kids who are still growing, but i was wondering would it work for people who are older than 15 or 16!?
also, is it possible to have problems later on in life because of the herbst appliance!?

I'm turning 17 this October and I've thought about this appliance!. I did some research!. I've found out that it, in fact, works for people in their mid/late teens!. It might take longer, but can work!. I can't tell you strictly that yes, it will work, because everybody is different, but it will help to some degree!.
There have been many researches about the effectiveness of the Herbst appliance in younger adolescents / adolescents / young adults / adults!. I will add them to the sources!.
I want to get this appliance to fix my overbite and I'm confident it will help!. If you find some more info about the effectiveness of the Herbst appliance, please, contact me and share what you've found!. :)

Yes, not so much a ''problem'' but the jaw may relapse to it's original state - no one has followed patients for a long enough time to know for sure, the lasting of the results is unpredictable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
