Braces can move and correct your jaws! It will not move your jaws per se but as your teeth are corrected, your jaws will be, too!. I believe that because my sister used to have a disfigured jaw, it's not that awful but it makes her less pretty!. But after braces, the positioning of her jaw was corrected!. It really did make her look better!. So I am 100% sure that braces can correct jaw positioning as long as your jaw bones are strong and it's not that complicated!. I don't think an overbite is complicated!. I also have an overbite before and braces corrected it! If your dentist or orthodontist says it can't be done, then it's either he/she doesn't have that much experience or worse he could be so conventional that he/she refuse upgrade in terms of new ways to correct overbites and other teeth related matters!. Go find someone else if that's the case!. 2nd and 3rd opinion are important before you decide to do something as drastic as surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

3-4mm is an average bite!. Only a qualified orthodontist can tell you whether you have an overbite, it sounds like you're fine if you're just 3-4mm!.

In any case!.!.

Go to see your orthodontist (or go and get one) as they are the experts, and without seeing your teeth, no one can recommend a remedy!. If you see your orthodontist, it is most likely that they will fit you a retainer- a bridge and wire that set your teeth in the right position, or train tracks, which pull back the teeth, depending on severity!.

I don't think it's possible to move the jaws, only the teeth, but your jaws will adjust if you get braces fitted!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Braces are meant to fix this problem!.

However, i had them for 2 years, and still have an overbite as they only fixed the problem temporarilyWww@Answer-Health@Com
