OK so i just got braces and my teeth are really sore

I've had braces for about two and a half years and im getting them off in about two months i think :] so yah heres what i can tell you about that!.
I remember the first time i got them on, they really hurt pretty bad for maybe like a week!. its bad the first day, realllll bad the
second day, and it gets better after that!. don't worry it wont be like that forever(: don't eat any like hard foods or chewy foods until you are completely comfortable with braces and have no more pain!.
maybe like once a month or so, (depends on your orhtodontist,)
you will need to go in and get them tightened and have them check and make changes, after this, they will hurt for about three days!.
(ok the first day, bad the second day, gets better from there!.)
you will get used to the feeling of them don't worry!. it only took me like two weeks!. good luck(: i hope your smile is beautiful when you get them off :]

it'll be sore for about 3 days!. the first time u put on braces will hurt the most and when ur teeth starts moving, then itll stop hurting!. but when u go back to go tighten it, then it'll hurt again for about 2 days!. u dont get used to the feeling, it's just that ur teeth moves and then ur braces wont be so tight and it wont hurt!.
oh and when u get ur teeth tightened, or right now(since ur teeth r sore) u can drink milkshakes!. i like drinking them after i had my teeth tightened because its cold and it helps the pain a little!. plus, i love chocolateshakes! lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Take ibuprofen!. It seriously reallllly helps!. =) You'll get used to them in 2 weeks at the latest, so just hang in there! Eat a toooon of soft foods like yogurt, applesauce, Jell-O, pudding, ice cream, even oatmeal, etc!.!.!.
Wear Chapstick or lip gloss to protect your lips!. You may want to go to www!.DentaKit!.com for lots of products for braces!. If you want to play around with colors, go to www!.drjohnking!.com/BracesSelector!.html (though it's NOT my orthodontist)!.

Gosh i remember braces when i would get them tightend i felt like ripping them out of my mouth i hated them!.
Best thing to do is take a couple pain killers like Advil it will go away in a couple days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

about every 3 to 5 days!.!.!.well for me!. and it will take at least a week to get use to!. but after they tighten or adjust them, they will be sore, but only for 3 days tops!.

I totally forgot I had them after a month or two but I just went to the Orthodontist and they tightened it and it hurts like a motherr!
