Wisdom tooth extraction..pain.?!

Question: Wisdom tooth extraction!.!.pain!.!?
Ok!. I had three of my wisdom teeth cut out on Wednesday!. The dentist didn't give me stitches even though the teeth were compacted in my bone!. I followed all his orders about my food diet and everything!. He told me I could smoke a 24 hours after in which I did!. I was prescribed 5mg of oxycodone,500mg of ibuprofen, and 500mg of penicillin!. The first two days, I felt very little pain on my medication!. After that, the oxycodone has had little effect on my pain and it hurts extremely bad!. Is there something wrong or is it normal to be in so much pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The wounds are not supposed to dry out, you see!. There are supposed to be blood clots in the holes, just like how when you have a cut on your arm and the blood eventually dries up and covers the cut!.

The blood clots formed initially must have been dislodged and it is very likely that the pain you are experiencing now are from dry sockets!. Go back to your dentist and see if this is the case!. Dry sockets usually need to be treated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask the dentist!. It's possible they got infected, or that they have dried out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
