Question: How Do I convince My parents to get me braces!?
because I have a gap in between my teeth+a tooth is not were supposed to be and they are just procrastinating because alot of people have been saying their insurance did not pay for the braces please give me some ideas i don't want to be ashamed to smile anymore HELP!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell your parents you need to see the dentist b!.c!. of a tooth ache!. Then while you are there tell the dentist why you really are there (to convice the dentist to convince your parents you need braces)!. Most dentists will talk to parents about the benefits of a correct bite and straight teeth!. Less bacteria accumulates in the gaps and it will create for less problems down the line!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would sit down with you parents and tell them how you feel!. If they have good dental insurance then there's also a good chance that it covers some of the cost of braces!. Keep in mind that braces can cost as much as $5,000!. Some insurance comanies only cover $0 - $2,000 of that cost!. That would mean your parents need to pay the remainder!. Some Orthodontists have a special monthly plan to pay it off and sometimes require a down payment!. It's very costly to have braces nowadays!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I wish I still had my gap, they are nice on some people so dont be afraid to smile!!! But if you think you really want them ask your parents to take you for a Free consultation to make sure you even do need them!. Most orthodontist have monthly payment plans !. good luck!

Well, just tell them that you really want braces and they would help straighten up your teeth!. I know you said your thirteen, so you could not pay for them, but you could start to save up a little bit, so at least your paying a bit!. Maybe like, every month put in $10 or something!. bizarre!. in my town everybody has braces whether or not you really need them!. you would have had them when you were like 8 years oldd!.
