Question: Im nervous about gettin my braces does it hurt!?
i just went to the dentist today and i have an overbite and i knew i did!. but the dentist said i need to see an orthadontist about it so i probally will be gettin braces please tell abou if it hurts!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, it only hurts after you get them tightened which is about every month!. But when you first get your braces they dont hurt that bad!.
What they do is they put some glue on each tooth, and then a bracket!. The brackets have little "doors" which they keep open until they put the wire in!. After they put the wire in, they close the brackets and that's it! It's just time consuming!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got them on this morning!. It does!.
It won't at first, but after a while they get really sore and it hurts to touch them! You definetley have to have soup, ice cream, pudding, applesauce, etc!. My teeth are killing me right now! I know it will be all worth it in the end though!.
Except after I get my braces off i have to get 2 dental implants!. :[
Ahh well!. When I'm 20 I'll finally have perfect teeth!. =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes honestly it does, like at first you think oh its all dandy but afterwhile it starts to hurt like a mothaa lol!. but yeah it will hurt a couple days, then after you get used to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
To be honest, it hurts!. It is like a baseball bat is slapping on your teeth!. Can you imagine that!?
