Is everyone required to get spacers before braces are put on?!
Question: Is everyone required to get spacers before braces are put on!?
I have my "banding" appointment Tuesday and I'm not exactly sure what it is!. I think it's where they put bands and brackets on your teeth!. But anyways, I haven't had spacers and like I said, my banding appointment is Tuesday!. Does this mean I won't be getting spacers or that I don't need them!? Because I think the appointment for spacers comes before the banding appointment!. Or is the banding appointment where they put the spacers in!? I haven't heard the orthodontist mention them!.!.Is everyone required to get spacers!? Ahh, I'm so confused!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In banding appointment the bands are put in the back teeth and brackets are put in front teeth!. If the spacers are not given before may be your teeth are spaced enough that banding can be done without creating the space!. Nope, i had braces and never had to have spacers!. if your teeth are too close together, theres a good chance you will need themWww@Answer-Health@Com
