Question: (For those who experienced having braces) Does braces hurt!?
Okay, My parents planned me to have braces because the front of my teeth isn't in line so does braces hurt to put it on and to get it out!? Im so scared coz i really have a feeling that it hurts so much like rating 1-10 i say 100!!! So does it hurt!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Getting them put on didn't hurt for me, but when you get them tightened, it hurts!. Braces are very uncomfortable, especially when you can feel your teeth moving (like me)!. I'd rate the pain/discomfort at a 5 or 6, and it lasts for about a day or two after the tightening!. It'll be worth it when they come off though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your teeth will be achey every time your braces are tightened!. It's not a stabby pain like needles or anything, but the aching is pretty bad, it stays at a 4 for a day at least!.
Also if they don't get the brackets smooth enough, the brackets cut the inside of your lip!. That's about a 6!.

I've got them now!. It doesn't hurt at all when they put them on!. (Im not sure about taking them off because i havent gone through that yet, but very soon i am!) and the only part that hurts is when they tighten them!. Yes that is very painful as it's pulling on your teeth and moving them but the pain only normally lasts a day or so!

you'll be fine! its VERY worth it!. i've had mine since feb this year and apart from the 1st few days and that once every 6-8 weeks tightening being a pain, its fine!.
takes getting used too!. and isnt PAINFUL as such!. just uncomfortable until you get used to them!. i cried for the 1st few days coz it felt so TIGHT and i wasnt used to it!. now i hardly know they r there (except when i get them tightened or have food stuck in them! haha)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't hurt to put them on or take them out!. It will make it difficult to eat for a few days, but after that you'll be fine!. Flossing is no fun with braces neither!. It doesn't hurt in no time you'll have straight teeth, just look forward to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
