Dentists????this is the worst pain ever feel like i'm going to die :(?!

on thursday i woke up with agonising pain in my gum/tooth, this tooth has been giving me problems for a while now, i called my dentist and got an emergency appointment for the morning!.
first sleepless night
in the morning, they put a temp filling in my tooth, as it has a hole in it, a very deep hole!. the dentist explained its going to be hard to get the tooth out they may have to seperate it then pull it out in two parts!.!.!.
when i went home and the injection wore off the pain was even worst than it was on thursday :cry: i was crying and could not sleep!. came on LHCF to get my mind off things!.!.!.!.
second sleepless night
on saturday morning my glands were swollen, face hurt,i had a migraine,my face was throbbing, my gum and teeth were sensitive to touch and i could hardly concentrate on anything!. i called the emergency dentist who told me the temp filling was blockng the pain in, i had to get th temp filling out
third sleepless night
on sunday i tried to concentrate on mind over matter, accept the pain etc, began antibiotics (im pregnant so can only take paracetamol that is not doing ANYTHING at all :cry: )
today the dentist told me to come in so they could take the tooth out!.i was given an injection could still feel the pain, so they gave me two more injections!.
the tooth REFUSED to come out
the dentist tugged for 90 minutes,trying to get the tooth out, i could feel EVERYTHING!. I'm a person that can handle pain(i had my son with ZERO pain relief) but this was too unbearable i burst into tears on the dentist chair,she checked further and told me there is an infection under the tooth,it is like glue pulling under my tooth whilst she is trying to pull it out!. now i have pain all in my face, my shoulders, my neck i feel like i am dying slowly!.
now i have to take antibiotics get the infection cleared up, manage on paracetamol and attempt to get the tooth taken out next monday!!! how am i going to cope!?
my tooth is wobbling now,constantly bleeding !. i feel so uncomfortable and keep bursting out into tears!. i'm trying not to stress myself out because the baby can sense it but i am truly in agony!.!.!.!.!.
please pray for me!.!.!.!.

u poor thing sounds like u have been thru it!. i think yr dentist should have given u antibiotics before trying to take the tooth out!. this similar thing happened to my son when he was 10, they wanted to remove a baby tooth as it was causing prob!. it wasnt our normal dentist but a differnt one in same practice and he wasnt as child friendly as ours!. i had taken my son as he was in pain, the dentist said it had to come out!. hes never had anything done so was terrified and upset, he gave him first injection and told us to wait outside 15 mins, after 15 mins we went back in it wasnt numb so he gave him more injection and sent us outside again, by this time my poor son was really upset however the tooth refused to go numb so he gave him antibiotics and told us to come back next wk to see our dentist!. with antibiotics it stopped hurting and our dentist said no need to remove at moment, tooth is still there and not causing any problem nearly 2 yrs on!.
i hope the antibiotics start working for u soon!. take the paracetamol regularly so theres a constant level in yr blood!. good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ow :( I feel your pain!. It may seem silly, but you should go to your doctors instead of your dentists, they can offer extreme painkillers and may be able to help fix the problem!.

I feel for you!. I had an abcessed tooth last October (I never went through pain like that before)!. I went to the dentist and was given antibiotics to clear it up, as they could not pull it until it was clear!. It did clear up, I thought - why get it pulled now - it feels fine!. June 2008 - it was back with reinforcements!.!. excrutiatingly painful!. Like you, it made my neck, head, even my hair seem to ache constantly!. After one week of hell, it cleared up, and I had it pulled faster than you can say gone!.!.!. Now I have an ache in my upper left Wisdom!. That is gone by this Saturday!. The only advice I can give you, is try to move as little as possible, try not to talk, and breathe through your nose!. It is a shame you cannot take Antibiotics!.!.!. I was almost to the point of grabbing a wrench and pulling it myself!.!.!.

if your tooth is wobbling, and leaking a blood like fluid, it could be the infection is heading - this would cause almost immediate relief!. I honestly think you are turning the corner!. Get it pulled, as soon as you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG you poor thing! did the doctor say any thing about pain pills!? i know your pregnant but i don't think pain pills will hurt the baby if you take a few temporally, i had four wisdom teeth pulled and i would have not made it had it not been for the pain meds!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
OMG you poor girl! Mouth pain is the worst!! I am almost in tears reading this! I just had my wisdom teeth pulled on Saturday, so I am sitting here in a bit of pain as well, since the pain meds they gave me wear off after 2 hours and I'm supposed to wait 6 hours for the next dose!. That sucks that they can't help you sooner than that! Dental people are so unfeeling sometimes! My sister just switched her wisdom tooth extraction surgery to an oral surgeon instead of in-office so she can be put under, and her dentist office laughed at her!! WTF! When I become a dental hygienist, I will be very sympathetic to people in pain! Www@Answer-Health@Com
