Question: When do wisdom teeth usually come in!?
I am 22 years old and have 14 teeth on top and on bottom!. I assume this is the normal amount to have!. This morning, I woke up with a painful jaw and painful gums, and on my left bottom gum, right at the back, I can feel a "cut" in my gums and a hard, rounded, sharp point, like a tooth!.

That definitely sounds like your wisdom teeth coming in!. A full adult set of teeth includes 8 in each quadrant - 32 overall!. Wisdom teeth tend to come in between 18-25 years of age, but are really very unpredictable, and in some cases fail to develop at all!.
It would be a good idea to get a dental check up so you can get x-rays to show if your wisdom teeth are coming in correctly!. They are generally painful coming in, but this can be managed with some oral gel like Bonjela when the pain sets in!. If you begin to develop other problems, the dentist may discuss extractions with you!.

I only ever got 2 (don't say it)!. Both in my late teens/early twenties and both on the right!. The upper one came through OK as I'd previously had a tooth out up there and they'd "squeezed up"!. Bottom right tried but never made it properly and kept getting infection under it, so painful!. Had it out in the end!. The 2 left ones never made an appearance and I'm 41 now so I guess they won't!. Probably that's a wisdom tooth coming out, I had an x-ray about 2 months ago and we saw wisdom teeth!! my mom who's a dentist said they might come out maybe after 2 years (( i'm only 15 )), so i really think ur right, that's a wisdom tooth coming out, it must be!! coz ur already 22! and they come out between ages 17-21!.

Wisdom teeth don't always come in for everyone!. A dentist can tell you if these are even coming in
Most people, IF they're going to get them, have them in between 17-24 years old!. If you're 22 then they may come in yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Two of mine stayed under the surface the whole time!. I had them cut out when I was about 28!. Until then, every few months my gums would hurt just like I was a baby teething!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
