Why did my teeth started bleeding when I flossed it?!
Question: Why did my teeth started bleeding when I flossed it!?
It doesn't usually bleed but the past couple of days it would start bleeding when I flossed!? Does this mean I have cavities!? I brush my teeth 2 times a day (sometimes 3) and I only flossed at night before I go to sleep!? I don't eat that much candy or chocolate but I do chew gum a lot! I do drink milk and water a lot!

bleeding gums have nothing to do with cavities!.!. slightly bleeding gums is gingivitis, severe bleeding gums is periodontitis!. maybe you are overdue for your 6 month professional cleaning!? typically, the more you floss, the less bleeding you should have, unless there is a little bit of tartar slightly under your gum that is irritating it!.!. schedule a cleaning at your dentist office! good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
U didn't say when was the last time u had been to a dental office for a good prophylaxis!. U should do that every 6 mo!. Flossing is good and necessary but if u don't take good care of ur teeth then u can develop a gingivitis which is an inflamation of the gum tissue!. It could be also a symptom due to a sistemic disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Both my dentist and my orthodontist have told me that whne you floss plaque outta your teeth, you bleed!. it isn't bad!. You may have swollen gums, ring your dentist and ask, if you're nto sure or if it's getting worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
when i was younger, my gums would bleed quite often when i BRUSHED! All it is is sensitive gums!. When you brush, kinda massage the gum areas and you'll be fine in no timeWww@Answer-Health@Com
U have sensitive gums and you could be lying about flossing because that is likely to happen when you havent flossed in a while so yeah!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your teeth do not bleed!. It is your gums!. You could be flossing too hard and cutting the tissue!. You could have a gum disease!. If it does not stop after 5 days of flossing see your dentistWww@Answer-Health@Com
