Question: My teeth arnt straight!.!.so why are my braces coming off!? 10 pts!?
Ok ive had my braces for nearly a year, and the orthodontist said i had to keep them on for 18 months!.!.!.at my last checkout he gave me good news that my braces are coming off *woo*!.!.!.one problem!.!.wen i came home to my mom she was not impressed!!.!.one of my front teeth was still slightly crocked!.!. this was disapointing!.!.!.wat is my orthodontist up to!?!.!.!.help !! tanx

I'm a Registered Dental Hygienist in FL so I hope I can answer your question!.
First if you are not satisfied with how they look, let them know! Ask them why they feel the braces should come off now when your teeth are not completely straight!.
Secondly, each case is different!.!.!.some people have relatively few oral issues so they only have braces for a few months (I had mine on for 10 months only and still have straight teeth to this day, 14 years later)!. Others have extensive problems and need to wear their braces longer!.
In the end if you feel that your orthodontist is not listening to you or doing something that he/she shouldn't you can always go get a second, third, or fourth opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I had braces, I went to the dentist and I always had two different orthodontists looking at my teeth!. One of them was younger and told me I could get them off ASAP and the other one thought I should wait another six months!. Since I was really anxious I got them off asap, and now I have a tooth, that doesn't match the other one on the other side!. I guess it's my own fault for not saying anything, I'm hoping that it will eventually shift to look like the others, but I don't know if it will!.
If one of your teeth is crooked, get your mom to talk to the dentist, so they take it seriously!. They may not take you seriously since you're young!. Please don't get your braces off if it isn't time! : )Www@Answer-Health@Com

if your teeth is disappointing to you, you need to let him know not us!. We can't fix this he can!.!.!.go directly to him and tell him that you're not happy and that you don't have an "american smile" and that this is what you had in mind when you thought of a straight teeth bring a picture or explain it to him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You really need to ask him!. It is possible that you will be transitioning to a night time retainer after the braces to accomplish the last bit of straightening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
