Depending on how deep the chip went it could be close to the nerve!. You might need a Root Canal, or just another filling!. I would use a temp filling in the stores or advil to cut the pain but go to the dentist as soon as they can get you in to fix it before you get an infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
