Is it possible I might need a root canal even if my cavity doesn't look bad?!

Question: Is it possible I might need a root canal even if my cavity doesn't look bad!?
My cavity seems to be at a stage right now where there are no visible holes but just thin brown lines that line the pits of my tooth!. It seems like one of the brown lines are nearing my gums!. Is it possible for me to need a root canal from this!? Thank you in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i have gotten a root canal 4 times and they have always looked and felt absoulutly horrible so idk about your case but mine on my front tooth up top next to your two main front teeth a part of it broke off it was so decay so they had to do a root canal and i had to have 3 done on one of my back molars [ the same tooth!] and they hurt so bad the toothache would wake me up out of a sleep so i would say you wouldnt need oneWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well sometimes the cavities dont look so bad on xrays and stuff, but by the time the dentist starts drilling sometimes its deeper than what they thought, i just had a root canal cause once dentist got in there it was worse than they thought,,, make sure though if u have pain or very sensitive to air, cold or hot liquids after they have put in the filling that u get urself back to the dentist , wish u luck Www@Answer-Health@Com
