Answers:
no, you cannot place anything in the place of spacer!.if you can see your dentist before it is ok!. otherwise if the space is closed then your orthodontist may put the spacer again but that is very unlikely!. for more information on braces you can visit the followig link

That happened to me when I was like 9 or 10 years old!. I never put anything in the space to keep it open!. Sure enough, the dentists are right!!! My 3rd molar grew in, but got pushed inward towards my tongue!. Now it slants at a 45 degree angle, inwardly!. Please, go get another one or the same will likely happen to you!!! They must use cheap cement or something!! I doubt there is anything you can put in their to replace it that you won't swallow or lose!.

Lexi is right also, your teeth won't move in that period of time!. But get another one on that day if you can!. Sooner than later!.

SORRY, LEXI and VEGAN I DIDN'T MEAN TO GIVE YOU A THUMBS DOWN!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Teeth will not shift that much until then!.!.!.but just to be sure call your dr!. I would NOT put anything in there to keep the space open this is how infections can occur!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!.
Call your orthodontist!.
If you don't get it fixed then you'll just have to wait even longer for your braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
