ugh! I hate that numbness! I had 3 teeth pulled and my face was so numb!. try pinching it and moving your face a lot!. There really isn't that much you can do about it!.!.!.sorry! :(

btw-i LOVE guitar! if your teacher is anything like mine he will just laugh histerically and make fun of you!. lol! ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dude, it takes 3-4 hours to wear off!.
I remember because I had to go TWICE to get 4 filling on the left side of my mouth (top and bottom) and the next week 4 fillings on the right side of my mouth (top and bottom)!. I got anesthetized twice and had that numbing feeling last for 3-4 hours after i got out of there!.

Now I'm in the process of getting braces :)

Try moving your mouth , and your cheeks a lot so that it can wear off faster!. I tried that and it wore out a little, and every hour after that you could feel the feeling coming back!.

good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, it has to wear off on its own!. Just tell your instructor you had dental work adn are numb!. you can both still communicate even if you have a lisp!. For me it usually takes about 4-6hours for a local to wear off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not really, but stay hydrated so your body can process the drug quickly!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
