hey i was just wondering does it hurt when you get your braces off and do they give you any shots!. i didnt thinks so but my three older brothers are trying to trick me! im trying to prove them right! lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

When I had my braces taken off, there was no pain relief/numbing!. It doesn't hurt, so there is no need for it!.
There is a little bit of pressure when they are taking them off, especially the bands, but there is absolutely no pain!. It sounds a bit strange (they literally snap them off-sounds much worse than it is), but that's it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they didnt give me anything!. it didnt "hurt", but it was uncomfortable!. not any worse than getting them tightened!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No it does not hurt!. No they do not numb you!. It will feel funny once they take them off though, almost like your teeth are huge!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've worked for a dentist for 15 years and I have never seen someone get numb for removal of braces!. I never had braces but I hear that when they take them off it feels like a relief!Www@Answer-Health@Com
