What do I have in my mouth??? (freaking out!! please help?)?!

Question: What do I have in my mouth!?!?!? (freaking out!! please help!?)!?
I went to the dentist last week and she asked me If I had noticed an abnormality under my tongue (not under like the bottom part of the mouth/jaw) I said no, she asked if it hurt and i replied no!. I looked at it and it looked like a cold sore kind of!. (it was really red) Today I was looking at it and It isn't red anymore it is pink like my gums!. But it still looks weird, not exactly looks like a cold sore, it is hard to explain what it looks like, but I'm kind of worried :S please don't say herpes or anything like that because I am a virgin and I'm not like that!! What could it be!? please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If your dentist doesn't seem to be worried, you should not be either!.

Even if after a few days it does not go away and you are referred to a specialist, it may likely just be a harmless benign cyst!. IF they suggest having it removed, it will be painless as they may use a laser and/or anesthetic!.

Yeah I agree with the answer above!.!.!.

If you are worried and it starts changing, like getting bigger or turning a different shape I would say to go check it out!.

The best thing to do is to get it checked out by a Dr!. or getting a x-ray wherever that lump is located!. Its better to just be safe!.
Any kind of lump should be taken seriously!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should go to a specialist since you are worried about it!. You have every right to be worried about it!. Much more so than your dentist!. It's your mouth not your dentist's mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
