Question: Is it normal for pediatric dentist to not allow the parents of a 4 year old to go back to the room!?
Is is normal for a pediatric dentist to not allow the parents of a 4 year old to go back to the room when they are filling a cavity!? It is not the child's regular dentist, they are just going to the pediatric dentist to have the tooth filled!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yep!.I used to work in Pediatric dentistry!. No parents allowed!.I know how difficult it is to see your child unhappy and most kids are not happy about having dental work done!. Your instinct would be to comfort your child and your child would look to you to do so!.It makes getting dental work done in a quick and efficient manner very difficult!. Yes!. You would be surprised to see how much easier the kids are to work with when the parents aren't in the room!. They will come out to get you in the waiting room if they have any questions or concerns!. Just try to keep in mind its the best for your child in the long run :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
