Does it hurt getting your teeth professionally cleaned at a dentist?!

Question: Does it hurt getting your teeth professionally cleaned at a dentist!?
Answers:
I had my teeth cleaned at an NHS dentist only a month ago!. The dentist used a very small electric file and a dental scraper and it merely tickled when removing the plaque and stains!. It did not hurt in the slightest!. My teeth had been very stained by years of smoking and drinking strong coffee!. You can then as an extra ask the dentist to take a mould of your teeth which gets sent off and made into the kind of gum shield you see sports players use, at night you put a solution into the gum shield and it bleaches your teeth even whiter overnight!. For a fraction of the price chemists have home whitening kits that are a bit weaker in strength, but be care full when using these if you have any form of gum disease or thin tooth enamel!. Pluck up some courage, conquer your fears and go see your expert dentist!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're afraid it might because you'll be jerking around or trying to close your mouth!.

If you've never had a cleaning before, the first time might be a little uncomfortable!. There's a lot of plaque build-up to scale, especially on your back teeth!.
The best thing you can do is calm down, open wide, and keep your mouth open!. Nothing worse than somebody closing down when you're trying to scale a tooth!.

The only time it should hurt is if he/she catches your gums, but it's not often they do this and when it does happen it's mostly just a jolt of "Hey, what's going on!?!"

You'll be fine! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

A professional cleaning requires the technician to go down below the gumline to remove plaque and tarter; so a little residual soreness at the gums is normal!. It generally disappears in a day or at most two, and can easily be relieved with an OTC pain reliever if it's troublesome!. Note: This is much less painful than having a tooth filled or pulled, so is much the lesser of two evils!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No not really the worst bit is the scraping and if they catch your gum!. Sometimes your teeth feel tight because there is a bit stuck in between them, but the dentist gets this out with tape or floss!.

Then your teeth feel fantastic once they have been polished :-DWww@Answer-Health@Com

The gain is worth the small amount of pain!.
Sometimes, the scaling hurts a bit, and I've noticed that the hygienist skill level plays a part!.
Though it doesn't hurt enough to make you skip the procedure!. Don't worry, you'll love how they look afterward!.
Be well!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you haven't been in a while, your gums might be a bit sore!. Otherwise, there shouldn't be any pain at all!. But preventative maintenance like cleanings are NEVER going to be as painful as the alternative - fillings, root canals, etc!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't listen to anyone else!.
HOLD ON!.!.!.why are you asking this question, you never went to the dentist!?!?!?!? Um!.!.I think you should!.!.!.their not there to make it a miserable experience but to help you and the health of your teeth!Www@Answer-Health@Com
