Help with my yellow teeth :(?!

Question: Help with my yellow teeth :(!?
When i was a kid, I remember times when I didn't brush my teeth up till around 2 weeks!. There was LITERALLY yellow food deposits and residue on my teeth, and i could LITERALLY use my nails and scratch them off!. Yes it was that bad!.
Up until recently, I took a more fierce approach to brushing my teeth!. My teeth are not perfectly oriented, that is to say, I have never gotten braces in my life, and they are like all weird(the two teeth beside my two front tooth are back, while the rest are infront)!. I started brushing carefully about a year ago, and all I've noticed is that the front teeth and bottom teeth are whiter, while my canines are yellow!. SUPER YELLOW! My question is, can I get rid of this!? Just normal brushing procedures etc!.
ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Like the previous person said, the canines are typically a bit darker (more yellow) than the front teeth!.

To answer your question, they likely will not get whiter on their own via brushing and flossing!. The stuff you were scraping off when you were a kid is plaque, and if it is allowed to stay on the teeth too long (technically over 1 day), it can calcify, and once it does, it can't be removed with normal brushing and flossing!.

If you do have large chunks of deposits on your teeth, the dental hygienist will need to remove them!.

If they are just yellow, you can try whitestrips like the previous person suggested and or whitening toothpastes; but if they are really dark, you probably need to have them professionally whitened!.

You get what you pay for!. The whitestrips are cheaper, but they won't do as much!. Bleaching trays are actually a good option, and while they are a bit expensive up front, they should last indefinitely so you are essentially getting a lifetime of bleaching (the bleach itself is very inexpensive), so that maybe something to consider!.

Hope that helps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow, I'm surprised you haven't lost your teeth, because all it takes is "two weeks" for them to decay!.!.!.As far as whitening them, I'd try the whitener products, they do work!. But using them too often isn't good for your teeth, so keep brushing to KEEP them white!. If the store products aren't strong enough, then have the dentist do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Canines are naturally more yellow in colour then your front teeth however if they are really yellow it may be caused by something else!.!.!.decay, staining!. Your best bet is to see the dentist for a professional cleaning and checkup and then go from there!.

Brush your teeth after every meal as much as possible!. Also use a floss to get rid of those food bits in between teeth!. What I do is floss-brush-floss and boy my teeth are squicky clean!

Also, try Crest Teeth Whitening strips, it really does as it says!Www@Answer-Health@Com
