Question: Sucking thumb problem!?!!?
am 14 and i STILL suck my thumb and i tried stopping but i reallt can not ive been doing it since i was small and my parents are absolotly fed up with me they tried everything but nothing works and especially this year its gone worse i cont stop doing it my parents are thinking to put tht thing the nedele thing in my mouth so i stop doing it what is it thought and dose it hurt!? and when i eat will it hurt!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a 14 year old, most of the growth of your face has been completed!. Do you have dental problems related to the thumb sucking!? Many orthodontic devices can help remind you to stop sucking your thumb, but they only work if you want to stop!. Most dentists I know no longer recommend using a pain device to stop thumb sucking!. At your age a psychologist may be an appropriate referral!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just tell yourself you are going to stop sucking your thumb!. That is what I did!. If you find that your thumb is in your mouth immediately take it out!. Just continue doing that and you will become used to not sucking your thumb!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should sleep with a sock on your hand so you cant suck it it worked for my sister oh you could also put some bad tasting perfume or lotion on your handWww@Answer-Health@Com
