Question: I had 11 teeth pulled (on the top) 4 days ago to get dentures!. Still in horrible pain, HELP!! !?
I did not have any sutures put it, the dentist said I did not need them!. I am not having any trouble with bleeding!. But, I am still having excruciating pain!. I don't have any dry sockets either!. I did get a set of temporary dentures immediately after the teeth were pulled!. I only have 2 small pressure sores, but that is not where the pain is!. It feels like all the teeth that I used to have up there are abscessed! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try to relieve some of this pain!. Since it is the weekend, I am trying not to take my pain medicine until I absolutely have to (like when the pain reaches a 9 out of 10) I am worried I will run out before the dentist is back in the office on Monday!. Any help would be greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try using bags of frozen peas as ice packs, rinse your gums with warm salt water several times a day and by all means take your pain meds, take over the counter stuff like ibuprofen as directed on the package!. Having teeth pulled can be painful!.
