Do they bury people with their braces on? ?!

In most cases, the answer would be yes!. The mortician is specifically forbidden by ethics to certain items from the deceased unless expressly instructed to do so!. He will not pry fillings out of the teeth, remove capped teeth, braces, rings or jewelry for any reason!. Years ago, morticians developed a code of ethics in regards to treating the departed with respect and dignity!. This treatment includes bringing peace of mind to those left behind!. It would be detrimental to those left behind to think of their loved one being desecrated by prying out fillings or removing structures such as braces!. These things are typically left on the deceased unless there is a specific reason to remove them, as in necessary for an ongoing investigation or a strict instruction from family to do so!. Many times, prior to cremation, objects such as jewelry and hearing aides are removed to hasten the process, and return to the family for sentimental reasons!. I would think so!. They sew the lips closed, so it's not like they would show!. I'm sure they could be removed, but the cost would be added in to have a dentist remove them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
