i have had wires to make my spaces move
i have had elastics because of my gap,
which are currently still needed but only at night
how much longer! i hate them and i hate being in
high school with them :(

dont worry, i have braces and have had them since janurary 07, no braces look bad, and the elastics youve got are at night so theyre nothing to worry about!. top tip is to NOT BREAK THEM! beleive me! i broke mine almost everytime i went to the orthadontist, and she said i delayed my braces coming off by 6 months!. now they dont break as much!. and if youve had them since june 07, then your teeth should be straight so they wont look bad - your dentist probably just wants to control your bite or something, or your jaw line!.
usually its 12 - 18 months, so maybe you will be getting yours off around christmas time , i hope i am too!

haha love the video! Well your teeth look pretty straight to me, but that doesn't mean they are coming off soon!. You may have to have them longer for some other reasons that only the orthodontist knows about!. Next time you go to the orthodonist and them about how much longer they think you will need them!. ask your orthodontist!. how are we supposed to know!? i have straight teeth but i need braces for two years!. yours look straight, but that may not even be the reason why you got them!.

your teeth may be fixed, but keep in mind that the orthodontist keeps them on because if you take them off once their fixed, your teeth will just go right back into being crooked!. it takes a couple months for your teeth to settle in the right place - they will most likely give you a clear retainer to wear after you get braces off to keep them in place, too!. next time you have an app!. just ask "so, how many months do i have left!?" or something!. the orthodontist might know what months he/she has planned for you to have braces!.
