Question: How do you find the "best" looking dentures!?
I have searched the internet for my area!. I am trying to research the most natural looking dentures and the cost!.
I have found not dentures are created equal!. While cost may make a difference there are also very cheap, unnatural dentures that are quite pricey!.

OK you little southern belle!.!.!.!.here's what you do!.!.!.Open your phone book Yellow Pages to where it say's "Dental Laboratories"!.!.!.Call two to three that are near you!.!.!.When the Lab answers ask to speak to the head of the denture dept!. Tell that person you want to find a dentist that does good work and can provide you with custom characterized dentures!.!.!.Also tell that Technician you know that he not the dentist actually makes the dentures the dentist sells!.!.!.The ask the technician if he knows how to make "Swissedent Dentures" and does he use "IPN" denture teeth!.!.!.!.Swissedent is a very customized style for creating dentures and the IPN denture teeth are some of the best in the world!.!.!.!.!.If you could get "Swissedent style dentures created with IPN teeth by a technician who knows how that is done you will have the best their is in quality and appearance!.!.!.!.!.Know this!.!.!.all a dentist is actually trained to do is take an impression of your gums and do what is called a Bite registration (jaw open alignment)!.!.!.that's all dental schools teaches them to do insofar as dental appliances!.!.!.Dental technicians are the "real" denture makers!.!.!.As for price, it will depend on the part of the country your in and how proud the DDS is of himself and his practice!.!.!.!.!.If he pays the Technician the highest usual Lab fee to make the dentures, he will pay the lab tech from $250 to $325!.!.!.!.!.However he may charge you between $1900 and $3000!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Where you and the public are at a disadvantage is that he, the Dentist, can give the Lab Tech an Rx Work Order instructing the Tech to create the dentures out of the cheapest materials available and the Tech has to do it and yet the Dentist can charge you as much as he can get away with!.!.!.!.most Dentist use a fee schedule that represents from a 500% to 1000% mark up!.
