How do I majorly sanitize plastic retainers?!
Question: How do I majorly sanitize plastic retainers!?
My retainers fell into the toilet!. They are the plastic kind that you can't put in hot water!. How can I sanitize them!? Help! I'm supposed to wear them every night but there's no way I'm putting those things in my mouth without some kind of major sanitation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Toothpaste is a major awesome cleaning agent!. If you can use hot water it always helps!. Listerine is good too!. I would wash them like you brush your teeth!. My brother had the same problem and that is what he had to do!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

yeah do not soak them in hot water! :)
I would say to soak them in peroxide/alcohol, only one of the two, for about 30 minutes then brush them really well!. I wouldn't use Lysol or anything like that!. Listerine does kill 99 of bacteria so after you brush, soak them in there for about 15!. If you do not feel like that is a good enough sanitation then I would call your dentist on monday and have them do it!. :)

Call your dentist and discuss the problem !. Im sure they will be willing to help !. They can sterilize it without compromising the fit!. Nothing wrong with asking !. Or find a chemical sterilizer in the market!. Chlorine or Lysol is best bet for it!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
try soaking them in Listerine antiseptic mouth wash itll kill alot of the germs otherwise i would say try using alcoholWww@Answer-Health@Com
