DM,
the implant is the best choice because no damage is done to adjacent teeth as in bridge!. Also the longevity is permanent unlike the bridge which lasts 15-20 years and needs to be replaced!.
Insurance won't pay for the implant!.
Removable is an option, but the daily care for is dissuades some!.

Go with the implant!. It is more expensive and more painful but in the long run!.!.!.!.!.!.over the course of years it is actually cheaper!.
Bridges break, Partials break and all have to be repaired and replaced from time to time!.
Until you have actually had to to deal with anything other than an implant you have no idea how time consuming and no fun it is!.
If you do lose more teeth then you can worry about anything else!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with lojak an implant is so much more less of a problem in the long run ~In your life time you would have to replace the bridge a number of times and that can cause wear on the teeth on either side of the bridge and sooooo more time ~ money ~ etc > good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

you mentioned implant in your title, I would definitely go that route!. Little more painfull and you have to go back to a couple repeat apointments but much better for the long term!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
