i have two cold sores inside my mouth on my bottom lip!. its adjacent to my gums and for a few days i thought that i just had some gum disease but today i folded down my lip and i found two small circles on my lower lip!. what did i do to cause them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you have might be just canker sores!. Cold sores affect the outside portion of the mouth and the roof inside the mouth!. Fortunately, canker sores are not contagious since they are not caused by a virus!. It doesn't have a cure though, since the cause is not yet defined!. It can heal in about 7-10 days, just avoid factors that can irritate it (acidic, hot, spicy, hard foods and drinks)!. Try over the counter pain relief medications, home remedies and topical oral gels to ease and manage the pain!. Never neglect proper oral hygiene to keep bacteria from infecting the open sore!. cold sores are a form of the herpes simplex virus (do not freak out, nearly everyone has it) and are brought on by stress and neglecting oral hygiene!. they are often quite painful and the best home remedy is to rinse your mouth out with some warm salt water every night and morning til they are gone!. if the pain seems to be too much you could consider buying some canker-x or applying carmex to them (it is safe to do so)!. as for what you did, probably nothing special, they come and go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
