Answers:
You were given the penicillin for a reason!. To kill the infection in your tooth!. The root canal is done to remove the dead root!. Did you have pain before the root canal!? I myself have had 3 root canals!. The reason it hurts so bad now is because there is infection!. If you would of taken the penicillin when your dr gave it to you, you would be fine by now!. But since you didn't!. you hurt!. Continue taking the penicillin and in 2-3 days the pain should go away!. ALSO DO NOT WAIT FOREVER TO GET YOUR CROWN! Then longer you wait the more you risk that tooth breaking and you having to get it extracted!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take the vicodin!. If you took the motrin a few hours ago, take the vicodin!. Just make sure you're okay to drive, they have a tendency to make one loopy!.
If there was an infection, your dentist probably would have noticed it today!. I had the same thing happen to me!. It sucked, and it took a few days to go away!.
