Is it necessary to get cavities filled before extracting wisdom teeth?!

Question: Is it necessary to get cavities filled before extracting wisdom teeth!?
I need to get all four of my wisdom teeth out!. However, I have four small cavities-- not on my wisdom teeth, but on ones close to them!. The cavities are not deep and are not causing any pain whatsoever!. My dentist told me that he would like to fill those cavities before I get my wisdom teeth extracted!. My dental surgeon, though, told me that it's not necessary!.

Which of them should I listen to!? Is it really important to get those cavities filled first, or does it even matter!? Neither of them really explained this one way or the other!.

I'm working against the clock!.!.!. I have to get my wisdom teeth out before the end of November, and I'm not sure I have time to make appointments to get the cavities filled before then!. Would it be a bad idea to get my wisdom teeth out even if I can't get the cavities filled first!? What is the reason that they need (or don't need) to be filled beforehand!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would trust the oral surgeon!. But to avoid infection, the dentist may be right!. Remember, cavities do contain bacteria!. So, it may be safer to get the cavities filled before getting the wisdom teeth extracted!. If time is an issue, just get the wisdom teeth out first -- that is the most important thing to do here!. i dont think it is necessary to get those cavities filled before getting your wisdom teeth pulled out, they really dont have anything to do with each other!. The only reason your dentist might have told you that you should get you cavities filled first would be a possibility of infection spreading more easier through your cavities!. But you should probably go with what your dental surgeon said, he has had actual experience in this!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wisdom teeth are just as healthy as any other teeth, even better!. They are new so there are no cavities!. If it isn't too late then you should get 4 molars pulled, hopefully the ones with cavities, and let your wisdom teeth replace them!. For too many years now wisdom teeth had to be pulled because nobody knew ahead of time to make room for them!. If they can grow in straight after four extractions you are much better off!. Get to your dentist ASAP!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
