Answers:
Yes your teeth can come out if you do not get root canal done

Unfortunatly yes it will hurt, but not so bad you die- just painful, but once the job is done, its done, the infection is gone and the pain is gone!. It hurts more to have root canal at the front of your mouth as there are more nerves at the ront of your teeth then at the back- had root canal done on one of the teeth at the front- the canine tooth, it hurt alot- I was shaking, but it did hurt and feel nasty and itch and was generally worse to have before the dentist deal with it!. The pain is not with the op, its with the injection, as the dentist may have to inject several nerves rather then jus the one!. (I had to have 3 injections for the front tooth I had root canal on, but only 1 injection for a huge molar I had root canal on in the back of my mouth)!. nce your numb, you get the odd rumbling of machinary, the normal saliva slobbering about your face (just like f you have ever hgad them cleaned by the dentist) and may get told (oh!.!.theres the puss- and if you are really unfortunate, have your dentist not mop it up saying 'its completely natural'!.!.!. will stop you eating for a while as the memories of puss and the feeling in your throat are not good- just remember to TELL your dentist: NO puss in my throat thanks! as you cannot do this while you are numb!)

If you dont have it done
Well, what you have is different to me, I didnt have an infection like gingivitus, I had an infection located to my one tooth, for me, my tooh was on its way out- the infection had killed off the blood supply and it had gone grey as a result!. With you, your tooth is likely alive and kicking, I dont know this for sure, but I would hazard a guess at the nfection spreading to the rest of your mouth and you ending up in alot of pain all over, very bad breath and even blood popisoning- I do know that people can get blood poisoning from gingivitus and can die from that!.

The will numb you up first!! I dont know exactly where they drill you wont get covered in blood, so any drilling wont really be of any great concern to you, your new root canalled tooth feels kind of odd at first as there is tooth where there used to be a bit of gum, but after a day or so yu just forget about it- you don't feel it or even really notice it after a while!.

Please don't freak out! If I can go through root canal- twice! then anyone can! I was physically shaking- I had never as much as had a filling before my root canal but it just got infected and at 23 I had root canal afer seeing someone in Guys hospital and them refering me back to my dentist for the treatment!. It is definatly worth it- the whole infection and pain (or I should say itch as it basically felt like my tooth was very very itchy all the time!) I had before getting it done has totally gone, its been 4 years now and I have not had any issues with that tooth, nor any infection!.

Ask your dentist if you can pla your ipod or put on the radio whie you have the tooth done, so you have something to concerntrate on, also tell them you are feeling worried- they will be able to work with that and reassure you about how its going!.

It sounds worse then it is- once the injections are over (and they are exactly the same injections as if you were going to get a filling) then your away!. Its just a ery odd sensation- not painful (and if it is then say omething and they will give you more anesthetic) just feels wierd!. The worst bit is not being able to talk propely afterwards- or drink without a large dribble of liquid all over your front or laugh without looking like an idiot or close your moth properly without shutting it manualy with your fingers- I thinkthat being numb has got to be the worst sensation in the world! weather its a dead leg or numb mouth/face!.!.!. but essentially, if thats the worst of it, you really don'tned to worry!.

You will not loose your two front teeth- this is the entire reason you are having root canal, to salvage them- they wont be alive like they were before, but they will atleast be here, look the same and save you waiting YEARS on the NHS for a new set of fake teeth whilst going without your own to comply with the waiting list standards!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your Dr recommends a root canal on those teeth there is probably something going on with them, if left untreated yes they can become loose and fall out that would result in getting a bridge(2 teeth on both sides fitted for crowns and 2 fake teeth in the middle) or wearing a partial!.
Root canals are annoying and uncomfortable your mouth needs to stay open during the procedure and will need to have a couple of x-rays taken, you will be numb and if you're really nervous ask if your Dr has laughing gas that might help calm your nerves!.
After the root canal you will need to get crowns put on the teeth within 6 months there aren't anymore nutrients going into the teeth so you could be biting into an apple, sandwich or cereal and the tooth could break off!.
They will drill behind the tooth first with a high speed drill and then use a slower speed drill to clean out the roots then they will be filled with a gutt-percha material that will stay in the root and either a temporary material will go on top or a permanent one will be placed!. Since they are in the front the whole procedure shouldn't take as long as if it were on a molar!.
You should do fine if you have any concerns you should talk them over with your Dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok I think you probably have Gingivitis & need a Root Canal!.
So, You would need a root canal because the decay has gone into the nerve of you tooth!. The dentist will clean out the decay & take out the nerve!. This is all done through the canals of your tooth!. Not your gums!.
He will then dry it with tiny paper points & fill it with gutta percha wich is a special fillin material that fills the canals of your tooth!. Then he will fill it with some composite or filling material of his choice & after that you will need a crown!. Because after a rooth canal the tooth has no nerve & becomes very weak & can break off!. So, you need that crown to protect it from breaking!. The root canal will not hurt, you will be numb!. If you don't get it done the tooth could get an infection & abcess, which will hurt!. Don't be freaked out dentist do root canals all the time!. You will be ok!.

If the Gingivitis progresses to periodontal disease then your teeth will become mobil, your gums will bleed, foul smell, swollen gums & bone loss!.
Use Listerine & Brush & floss 3 times a day, every time after you eat or have a snack!. This will help you!.

You are talking about two different symptoms!. Gingivitis is due to ur poor oral hygiene!. It will go once u're treated with a good prophylaxis and follow ups every six mos!. If u had a nerve problem it is a different story that is due to either a traumatic injury or else a carious lession that has gone too far!. Questions 1 and 2 are related and u'll eventually loose ur teeth if untreated!. Treatment will be under local anesthesia so it won't hurt!. At ur age, prognosis is god for uWww@Answer-Health@Com

i know how you feel!.
I am 26 and might have to have my front tooth taken out due to an abscess!. But, you can choose to be knocked out so you wont feel a thing and there are 3 different kinds of "false" teeth that you can have to replace them!. My uncle has 4 "screw in" ones that are permanent and he has no trouble with them and you wouldnt even know they werent real unless he told you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1= not @19
2= not likely especially in the front teeth
3= a possible abscess in either tooth
4= drilling is into the tooth to remove the nerve

you will be fine, remember that root canaled teeth become brittle and must have crowns or face potential fractureWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well you don't need a root canal from gingivitis!. You may need a root canal from decay in your teeth or if they have been traumatized from hitting them!.

1!. no
2!. maybe
3 may abcess
4 toothWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have had root canal filling its ok!. Ask your dentist!. oh and I don't like going to the dentist but needs must!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
