Braces Question??????!

Question: Braces Question!?!?!?!?!?!?
I you whiten, like use whiting toothpaste and tooth brush!. Will the places where your braces are be not white when you get your braces off!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
after removal of braces, there will be slight discoloration from where your braces were compared to where they were not!. your orthodontist will buff and polish your teeth to get off any excess cement from your teeth!. this will usually help with the discoloration, however the best way is to whiten after braces are taken off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was told to avoid whitening toothpaste while I'm in my braces right now, so I do!. My orthodontist told me it would cause discoloration!. Whitening toothpaste also causes sensitivity, which you want to try and avoid while in braces!.

Just hold off for now, use a good tarter control toothpaste, and enjoy whitening ALL the surfaces of your teeth following braces (just like I'll be doing shortly)!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whitening toothpaste isn't recommended for someone who has braces!. They can cause discoloration!. I had been using a whitening toothpaste for years, & when I got my braces on, I stopped & my teeth were actually a lot less sensitive!. I could bite into ice cream lol!. Hope this helps!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
