Can somebody help with a jaw question?!
Question: Can somebody help with a jaw question!?
almost 5 days ago I got a lower wisdom tooth extracted!. I was one of the lucky ones who's now experiencing dry socket and apparently jaw complications!. The latter worries me a bit because I fear it will become a permanent problem!. I did some online research and discovered that it could be trismus!. If this is true, is there a way I can remedy the situation!? I can slightly open my jaw, but it's a little difficult and sore when I do so!. :/ Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey I have jaw issues but had them before my extraction-
however after the extraction I had a new issue- I could barely open my mouth!. Not even enough to use a fork!.
It took 2 months for me to be able to regain normal function of my jaw, so if your main concern is inability to open your jaw, it's not that big of a deal!. You will probably have to strain and exercise it to get it working normally again though (my surgeon after a couple weeks had me try and stick a finger or two between and put some firm pressure downward to regain that flexability)Www@Answer-Health@Com
