ok, so I'm getting braces soon, and I'm really excited but I'm really worried about the pain! Is it a sharp pain, or does it hurt like a bruise or something like that!? and is it bearable!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

not a sharp pain, but if u dont take advil or tylenol it hurts!. (i got mine done in the morning, then went off to highschool and the pain kicked in!.!.was like a headache in my mouth)!.

When you get them on, they don't tighten them so it doesn't hurt, it just feels weird!.
Then your next appointment, they tighten them which makes them hurt to eat food!.
So what I do which helps is before I go to the orthadontist and get my braces tightened, I take tylenol because then it won't hurt!.

It's not sharp pain at all, it is like the pain you feel the next day after a long bike ride or something!. It is soreness!. Eating will also probably hurt more, so chew soft food!. It goes away within about four days after you get them on!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
The pain is bareable, But then you can 't chew gum, eat corn on the cop or any of that good stuff, that is going to be annoying!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
it doesnt really hurt at all they dont really hurt u in any way but it can make your gums a bit soar the day that you get it!. It really isnt that bad!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
